More than 120 measles cases have been identified in Alberta, with signs of community spread in some areas. Measles is extremely contagious and spreads easily through the air. The measles vaccine is highly effective and has a long-proven safety record.

๐Ÿ’‰ Vaccines are free in Alberta. Extra doses may be recommended for travellers, infants 6โ€“11 months, and adults born before 1970.

๐Ÿ˜ท If youโ€™re feeling sick or think you may have been exposed, call 811 before visiting a clinic and wear a mask to help protect others.
