Free Health Education Classes – Leduc Representative Article

Primary Care Network offering free patient education | Leduc Representative

The Edmonton Zone Primary Care Networks (PCN) are happy to offer free patient education classes and workshops to anyone who wishes to participate, regardless of where they live. Registrants do not need to be attached to a specific PCN to access this important health information and do not need a referral from their family doctor.

By offering free classes across the Edmonton zone, anyone can attend virtual or in-person education classes and access a wide variety of important health information to help them stay healthy and active in our communities. These free classes provide health information and patient education related to:

• nutrition
• exercise/active living
• mental health and wellness
• diabetes management
• weight management
• nutrition
• smoking cessation
• prenatal information
• menopause
• pain management

Where can I see the list of classes, and how do I register? Classes are listed on all the Edmonton Zone PCN websites and the Alberta Find A Doctor website. Information about registration can be found under each class/workshop. For Leduc, Beaumont and Devon, go to https://lbdpcn.com/events.
