National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡 All Canadians are encouraged to wear orange to honour the thousands of survivors of residential schools and to recognize the many losses experienced by students, their families and communities. 🧡

We recognize the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the families left behind and the survivors of these institutions. Remembrance of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

This National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, explore the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and stories of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Learn more at: https://bit.ly/3ZtbVcT
